MTV to remake Rocky Horror Picture Show

MTV is rumoured to be making a remake of the absolutely brilliant 1975 cult classic, The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Lou Adler, who was the executive producer of the original film has partnered with BermanBraun and Fox Television Studios for the new version. The new version will use the original screenplay by Richard O' Brien and Jim Sharman, but may also contain music not featured in the original film. Any details on the new director or casting still hasn't been announced.

Personally, I don't think it will be as big as the original - as the original is still being shown in cinemas around the US. Now that's what you call a cult film!!
