Fun Game

There is a site that I go onto which is a blog by an italian bloke who does mainly Flash based programming called Emanuele Feronato and there is a game that he had made called Chain Reaction, now it is an addictive game and its really simple to play, but does make the human race stressed at the same time.

The basic rules of it is simple, your mouse cursor is a circle and when you click your mouse you shoot 4 bullets (One up, one down, one left and one right) and when your bullets hit another circle then that circle explodes and shoots in a certain way. The green circles shoot the same way you do, the yellow ones shoot off diagonally and then, i think, the purple ones shoot in a hexagonal way - can't remember which way they do. The levels are fun and you should give the game a go and comment on what level you got to.

Hooked

Damn it!! I have been drawn into the mindless world of Big Brother... this edition that is on now has been ruled by celebs and it has been so funny. I watched it from about 9pm last night till now and I am still watching it. I also watched clips on YouTube too. I hate addictive programs, same with soaps too.

Mobile Phone Ghost Pic

A group of teenagers took what looked like to be a normal photo on their Sony Ericsson mobile phone and to their shock and suprise they ended up having another member in the photo that they never even knew was there. Below you can see their picture with what looks very clearly like a young girl. That parapsychologist bloke from Most Haunted, Ciaran O'Keeffe, explained the most stupidiest theory for the picture. "As human beings we're very good at finding a pattern in randomness and related to that we're good at finding faces in randomness. The term for this is pareidolia. First it was ink blots, then things like clouds in the sky and now mobile phone pictures. There is no ghost in this picture, just the coincidental effect of pixelation and darkness and light which combine together."
Oh shut up is what I say. Anyways... you decide.

Centering with CSS

Right as of yesterday HTML 5.0 started getting rolled out and because of this many web designers need to keep up with the changes. One of the big changes is that the center tag (which obviously centerizes everything) is being dropped, so how do you align things? Simple! With CSS. I have made a small centerizing tutorial for people to follow if they wish to keep upto date on the new centering methods.

Heath Ledger Dead

Yesterday at around 8.30pm GMT nominated actor Heath Ledger, 28, died in his Manhattan apartment building. He is best known for his roles in The Dark Knight (As the Joker) and Brokeback Mountain. It is said that his body was discovered naked and face down on the floor with some prescription medication near by including sleeping pills. Various movie stars have expressed their sympathies at the young actors untimely death.
